half a mind's work

wondering what to blog about. By any standard today has been really boring. Here's what I did :

woke up

had brunch

walked to sch

got rained on

had lectures

walked back

had dinner (laksa, sambal kangkong and russian dumplings. Thanks zun... )

not exactly inspiring, but life isn't exciting everyday. At least I didn't have any work to worry about.

oh yeah, a big big thank you to zhimin for the postcard. Really was a nice and pleasant surprise. Should have said this earlier but was preoccupied with, among other things, finding Nash equlibria in mixed strategies when players have a continuum of actions (don't ask). Would love to go up to, as you put it, 'the mountain'; maybe I'll just pop over one weekend when I feel like getting away from London. Don't worry, I'll give you plenty of advance warning so you can run away.

looking forward to the weekend. For one thing, this means I get to play football. On astroturf. Beats street soccer anytime. Not so many bloody scrapes, for one thing. Wondering if I should go catch 'Lost in Translation' sometime this weekend too. The Odeon (cinema) near my place has cheaper tickets for shows after 10pm (I think). Just don't feel like watching it alone though.

shall go watch my dvds. Blackadder season 3 is beckoning...
