hibernation's over
today has been a good day. Feeling active, and did some useful stuff too.
went jogging in hyde park this morning. Maybe it's coz the temperature's risen, or I'm wearing thicker clothes, but it was a lot more comfortable today than it was the last time. Not as crowded too, since it's a working day; all I had to avoid was an overactive little dog.
and since it's already spring, decided to do some spring-cleaning. Vacuumed my room, scrubbed the toilet sink and the bathtub, and tried to clean up the kitchen. The last bit wasn't entirely successful; probably the only effective way to clean the kitchen is with a flamethrower. Nevertheless, after exhausting work with the mop and tons of dettol (the flat's got a big stash of cleaning supplies), the accumulated strata of grease and grime were eventually removed in some places, revealing the previously unobservable kitchen floor.
having accomplished that semi-miraculous feat, yours truly promptly rewarded himself with a nice breakfast/lunch of M&S triple chocolate crunch with milk. For the uninitiated, triple choc crunch is kinda like cereal, only it's made of oat clusters, choc chunks and some other choc stuff. It's amazingly good: I'm finishing my third box, and zun seems to be tearing open a new box every time I see him in the kitchen. And to top it off, Mark's and Spencer's having a 4-for-3 offer for TCC right now. Life is indeed wonderful.
so now I'm just done with lunch. Looking to carry the momentum of activity into doing homework. Somehow, though, I just don't think it'll happen. But in any case, it's time to hit the books. So here we gooooo...
