on the rebound

it's right after lunch. Feeling nice and contented now. It's a beautiful day today, and I'm not going to waste it on being sad and depressed.

played soccer this morning. Unfortunately, we couldn't play at the astroturf field, so had to settle for a street soccer court. Ended up with the requisite collection of scrapes that comes from playing on a court that is slippery and -paradoxically - has a rough surface. They can't even do soccer courts properly here.

nevertheless felt in better spirits today than in the past few days. Having glorious sunshine helps I guess. And passing laundry shops that offer 'invisible mendings'. Now I just need liverpool to beat bolton to make the day complete. Heh.

well, think my laundry's done (and no, there's nothing that needs mending, visible or otherwise). Time to go hang my clothes. Here's wishing a happy weekend to everyone!
