the fruits of labour

cadets nowadays show no respect. 2 days after commissioning and still
haven't been saluted. My ego has taken a terrible beating.



the rank is different, but right now things are still pretty much the
same. Going through some - rather boring - course at OCS right
now. It ends tmw, and I report to my new unit on thurs morning (argh no
break!). Trying to enjoy this period of no responsibilities as much as
possible, before things start to pick up again.



kinda sad to think I'll be bidding goodbye to SAFTI after about a year
there. Its one of the nicest camps in S'pore, for sure. But all good
things come to an end I suppose. Now I just hope the next stage of my
NS life is going to be better than the last.



but that's the (imminent) future. Right now I'll just kick back and
relax. After my months of hard work, I rather believe I've earned it.



PS. Just watched sin city. It's amazing. That's the only word I can
find to describe it. The way it was shot was simply incredible (yeah I
know synonyms!). The stories and direction were fascinating. And
Jessica Alba was hubba-hubba hot. Really. Definitely one of the best
movies I've watched so far this year.
