'tis a happy hour indeed

came across this prized nugget of knowledge on the MTI website:

  1. Is there any particular import that will become cheaper upon the entry into force of Singapore"s FTAs?
Singapore currently imposes customs duties on beer, stout, samsoo and medicated samsoo ranging from S$0.80/litre to S$8.00/litre. Under the FTAs, Singapore will eliminate customs duties on these alcoholic beverages originating from our FTA partners" markets. Singapore consumers will therefore enjoy a greater choice of alcoholic beverages, with the possibility of lower prices.
Now who says free trade is a bad thing? Drunk.
