The World Cup is taking its toll; I've managed to acquire a fever after too many late nights and too much heaty food. Crap.

I'm into the last week of my NS liability. Somehow it hasn't really struck me yet, although I can imagine the sigh of relief that will accompany the reception of my IC after our lengthy separation. 7 days and a few more signatures to go..

Been spending my time on World Cup, driving lessons and sleeping. Not the most productive period of my life, I have to admit. In defence, I claim that I'm only making the most of the free time I have now, in anticipation of the scarcity of said resource in the near future. Carpe diem, and all that.

One thing I'm looking forward to, is catching a couple of movies: Superman Returns, and Pirates of the Caribbean 2. After the rather paltry first offerings of the summer season, it's finally time for something decent. Hope I'm not going to be disappointed.

And of course, there's always more exciting soccer action to catch. Just don't watch England.
