Movements

I've decided to move the blog onto blogger. Part of the reason is the occasional realization that I need to upgrade my account before I get to use certain services. It makes me feel like a dirt-poor squatter. Since it's easier to flee than to acknowledge reality, I choose to go with the flow. Thanks to Domee for running the risk of being permanently banned in order to come up with a program to import my old entries onto the new site. I'll definitely make use of it, once I figure out what to name the new blog. Nothing's stuck yet.

I've gone down to my new workplace the last two days, to check out my cubicle and sit in at a couple of meetings. My cubicle is decent-sized; already have some ideas on how to decorate it. The meetings have been interesting, and quite an eye-opener. I'm rather glad I've attended, even though I haven't officially started work yet; it's always good to learn to paddle before getting dumped into the piranhna-infested rapids.

Besides, a really cute gal sat next to me at today's meeting.

Working life suddenly doesn't seem so dull after all.
