confucius say: hi!

just did my laundry. Washed lots of clothes, but conveniently missed out one white sock. Argh.

honmun returned to california yesterday. That marked the end of my 'trip' for easter hols. It was quite enjoyable: had good company, lots of delicious food, fun entertainment, interesting gossip etc. Now that all the fun's over though, fatigue is really catching up with me. Consequently, my plan for the next few days is to do absolutely nothing, until I collect more functioning brain cells than an average garden slug.

honmun bought me a stuffed toy squirrel from stanford. It's quite small, a grey furry creature with a bushy tail that can't stand straight, and it wears a t-shirt in stanford colours that says, amazingly enough, 'Stanford'. It's cute, and I like it. I've named it confucius (bug me enough, and I'll tell u why).

on another note: now that people are getting replies for their masters applications, a few patterns seem to have emerged. The people I know from Imperial seem to be heading for stanford, the UCL people are moving en masse to cambridge, and the cambridge people all look like they're going to be in harvard. Interesting.

realise that I babble when I'm tired. It seems my mouth is hardwired to some repressed part of my unconscious, so I start spouting weird/bo liao rubbish at times when I'm sleep-deprived. Like now. So, I guess I better sign off before I start saying yaddayakyakzebrafishkgobbledywibble..
