thunderstorm

it rained a few hours ago.

it wasn't your typical london drizzle, although it started out that way. I was sitting in my room, leafing through my notes, listening, thinking that I'll miss the rain tapping its rythmn on the skylight when I leave. For a moment there was peaceful bliss, just me and the dancing raindrops.

pretty soon though, the light patter turned into persistent hammering, as the drizzle became a biblical flood-sized downpour, one that wouldn't have been out of place during monsoon season back home. Signs of spring perhaps?

in other news:

- just bought tickets to dublin and nice (yes, I know: it's a NICE place). Now I can't chicken out even if I want to. Well, I suppose I could, but I won't. Probably not. Maybe. Um.

- friday is looming nearer. Going to be spending the next 2 days furiously mugging game theory. Hopefully my IQ suddenly jumps up by about 50 points, so that I'll go to the exam on friday and find everything a cakewalk.

yeah, right.

- been wondering: can I just go into the bank and close my account straightaway? I think it's possible but haven't asked yet. Hope it's not going to be one of those 'please inform us in writing at least 30 days before' kind of deals.

- slightly disturbed to find myself having conversations with a squirrel. Would probably feel better if I can figure out what it's trying to say.

it's a cute squirrel, though.

- and finally:

still no signs of spidey.
