New Beginnings

Well, a new blog to usher in a new period of my life. Although, like any newborn, it took some luck, lots of effort and a long hassled period of gestation before it made its way into the world. Now I just hope it doesn't throw up on me.

I've gone through the first week at work. So far, so good. That said, there are already a few files colonizing my desk, and I've no doubt that they'll invite their families to join them in the promised land real soon. I figure that's when I'll say goodbye to the asphyxiating remnants of my social life.

In the meantime, I'm pretty much enjoying myself. After all, I work in a great building, my colleagues are real friendly and helpful, and it's a wonderful location in the heart of the city. Can't ask for more.

About the only downside is the commuting. Beginning to positively dread getting onto the MRT. It's almost always crowded, regardless of time. Jostling with people for space and handholds isn't the best way to spend an hour of my time everyday.

And I still need to decorate my cubicle.
