one day more

going to leave for france tomorrow. One last trip to europe, before I go back for good. Going to cover Nice, Monaco, Paris and maybe one or two small villages in 1 week (yes, it's doable, coz I'm only visiting a couple of places in Paris). Strangely though I'm not really excited about it. Maybe I'll appreciate it more when I'm at the airport.

tomorrow is also the day when I'll say goodbye to my flat. I've spent more or less 9 months here, working, being depressed and having fun. I don't think I'm too attached to it, but it's definitely embedded itself in my memories. For one thing, I may never have such a large room to myself ever again.

just found a substantial amount of euros in one of my drawers, which, when added to the amount I changed the other day, gives me waaay too much to spend in one week. Now you can argue that there's never such a thing as too much to spend, and I'd agree, but I'd rather spend the money in s'pore than in france. So I'm currently in the bizzare situation of having too much money for my needs. Bugger.

what else is there to mention? Oh yeah. Rafael Benitez, who just won the Spanish league this season with Valencia, is the new Liverpool manager. Woo hoo. Hopes he brings some much-needed flair and confidence into the side. And maybe a few world-class players will be tempted to join this world-class coach. Heh. We'll see.
