dumb

First round of my interview double-header didn't go too well. Was caught badly off-guard, because I was expecting just a presentation. It turned out to be a full panel interview, which incidentally included a presentation. And I just wasn't attuned to the questions they were asking. So I'm not very optimistic.

Was worn out and a little depressed after the interview, so I decided to take a break. Spent about an hour in pacific coffee, nestled in one of their comfy armchairs accompanied by murakami and a slice of tiramisu. The more I read 'Norwegian Wood' the more I love it. It's so incredibly crafted, like a glass flower, beautiful and delicate. Or rice paper, with intricate patterns traced against the grain.

I'm glad I decided to pick up the book from the stacks in my cupboard. It's been such a long time since I've read something so engrossing. Maybe I'm falling in love with a book. How dumb is that?
