quite frankly, I'm impressed by the power of google. Did a search on the term 'tipping point', and stumbled onto some really good sites, a couple of which u'll find in this post. And to think all I'd really wanted to do was to say that I've finally started studying.

anyway, there's a good description of what 'tipping point' means, and also an interesting analysis of the term in the context of blogs. In the context of my attempts at revision, all I can say is the accumulation of small amounts of stress has finally pushed me towards seriously mugging. Although that evidently hasn't stopped me from trawling the web for the origins of obscure phrases.

feeling hungry now. In fact, I've been spending the last couple of hours' reading time fantasizing about food (yes, I am weird; no, I don't have deviant sexual tastes). So, like the hunter-gatherers I claim descent from, I'm now going to embark on an expedition to forage for food. To the kitchen!
