a litany

Spent more than 4 hours in seletar today getting dripped on by rain.
Watching the water drip off the rim of my jungle hat. Watching the
drips eventually merge into one continuous stream of water, forming a
small puddle between my flooded boots. Watching the colour run from my
gloves, small black spots on the messy jungle floor.



Spent more than 4 hours waiting. Waiting for the exercise to start,
which eventually transposed into waiting for it to be called off, and
then into waiting for the tonner to come pick us up.



And all the while I was getting rained on.



The best part is that I'll have to redo the exercise some other weekend. Hooray.



on another note: about the
face thing, I have it on almost qualified medical advice that I'm
suffering from Bell's palsy. Will see what the MO says tmw. Hopefully
he's not going to think I'm trying to skive off.
