after action review

what my boss observed about me:

- lack of confidence ("come on! you got to be more confident about
yourself!... you know, when you have that psc interview next year, the
only difference between you and another psc scholar might be
confidence.")

- introversion ("you seem to have a need to keep things inside than to
share it with others... I'm not saying you should share everything with
others, but there's an aspect of mental health that you should
consider.")

- deep thinking ("you think very deeply about things. This is both good
and bad." [and this led to the observation on introversion])

- deportment [or lack thereof] ("you have to get rid of your
mumbling... look at [the new officer who's going to take over and
expand on my project]... the way he sits, the way he expresses himself,
he projects a more confident image.")

and other comments:

"you are very unsure of yourself... there are probably a lot of issues
that you think about in your head... someday you will have to decide
whether you want to solve these issues related to life... this has
implications for your mental health... I can tell you all this,
but only you can build up your own confidence..."

I guess when you work with psychologists for a couple of months, they get a pretty clear idea of the kind of person you are.
